Matchday two of the prestigious Buganda Masaza Cup was played over the weekend at various playgrounds. Two-time winners Ssingo thrashed record winners Gomba 4-0 in the Muganzirwaza group. Ssingo, who drew goalless with Buwekula in their first game, needed a brace from Joseph Ssewali and goals from Charles Batiibwe and Shaban Kayondo to secure their first win.

In the same group, Buwekula struggled again, held to a goalless draw by Kooki. Kyaggwe defeated Mawogola 2-1, with Hassan Ssentongo and Yusuf Mukwana scoring for Kyaggwe and Otti Opio Alex netting for Mawogola.

Ssingo thrashed record winners Gomba 4-0 while holders Bulemeezi were defeated 3-1 by Bugerere. Busujju secured their second consecutive win, defeating Kabula 3-1

In the Bulange group, Buddu edged Kyaddondo 1-0, courtesy of a Joseph Kayondo penalty. Holders Bulemeezi were thrashed 3-1 by Bugerere, with Wamala Henry, Simon Katumba, and Ssendi Tonny scoring for Bugerere and Masembe George scoring Bulemeezi’s only goal. Buluuli continued to impress with a 2-1 win over Butambala, with Ssewanyana Robert and Opar Jacob scoring for Buluuli and Isma Kayondo finding a consolation for Butambala.

In the Masengere group, three-time winners Mawokota were held to a 1-1 draw by Busiro, with Michael Abura scoring for the hosts and Conrad Ssenjogera equalizing for the visitors. Ssese and Buvuma played out a 1-1 stalemate, with Muhammad Sabil scoring for Ssese and Katamba Brian Henry netting for Buvuma. Busujju secured their second consecutive win, defeating Kabula 3-1. Peter Muduru, Collins Ssenyonga, and Lauben Lubwama scored for Busujju, while Manul Irival found a consolation for Kabula.
