Matchday three of the 2024 Buganda Masaza Cup saw nine games played across various playgrounds. Despite a change in head coach, Gomba suffered their third consecutive defeat, losing 1-0 to Mawogola in a Muganzirwaza group match. Alfred Ejoyi’s sole strike secured Mawogola’s second win of the tournament.

In the same group, Kyaggwe drew 1-1 with Buwekula, with Yusuf Mukwana scoring for Kyaggwe and Lukoye Samuel equalizing for Buwekula, who remain winless after three games. Ssingo came from behind to beat Kooki 2-1, with Calvin Peter Emayu and Shaban Kayongo scoring for the two-time competition winners.

Gomba suffered their third consecutive defeat, losing 1-0 to Mawogola to stay botton of their group table after three games played becoming the only team yet to secure a victory.

In the Bulange group, Bugerere beat Buddu 1-0, with Sulaiman Ssentongo scoring the decisive goal. Kyaddondo and Buluuli played out a goalless draw, while holders Bulemeezi secured their first win with a 2-0 victory over Butambala, courtesy of Chieng Parjiek’s brace.
Mawokota registered their maiden win, narrowly beating Ssese 1-0 in the Masengere Group, with Kigozi Ashiraf scoring the winner. Meanwhile, 2022 Masaza Cup winners Busiro suffered a 1-0 loss to Kabula, with Mamur Irivai scoring the only goal.
