The second leg of the group stages resumed, featuring nine matches across various playgrounds

Busiro and Kooki achieved their first victories of the season, while four of the five previously unbeaten teams maintained their streaks.

Busiro, with only two points from their first five games, defeated Buvuma 1-0 in the Masengere group, courtesy of Conrad Ssenjogera’s goal. This win moved them to fifth place on the log with five points, surpassing Ssese, who lost 3-1 to Kabula.

Kooki also secured their first win in the Muganzirwaza group, defeating Kyaggwe 1-0 with Shafiq Ssonko’s lone strike. This victory elevated Kooki to a higher position on the log, having garnered four points in six games.

Among the unbeaten teams, Buluuli drew 1-1 with Bugerere in the Bulange group, their third stalemate this season.

In Muganzirwaza group, Ssingo achieved their fourth victory in six games by beating Mawogola 1-0, courtesy of Shaban Kayongo’s strike. In the same group, Buweekula remained unbeaten, defeating Gomba 2-0 in Mubende.

In the Masengere, Busujju also maintained their streak, defeating Mawokota 1-0 with Paul Lukyamuzi’s goal, moving them to 12 points on the log, just one point behind leaders Kabula.

Matchday Six Results:

Kabula scored a road victory over Ssese to remain in firm control of Masengere group as the qualification begins. Busujju also won to keep pace just in case Kabula’s form suddenly drops off.
