In the Masengere Group, three-time winners Mawokota suffered another defeat, losing 1-0 to Ssese on Saturday. Jordan Ariaka scored the decisive goal for Ssese, leaving Mawokota’s chances of progression to the quarterfinal stage in doubt.

Kabula secured a 2-1 victory over Buvuma, with Edwin Aguma and an own goal from Samuel Nantajja scoring for Kabula. Derrick Ssemugoma netted for Buvuma.

Busujju and Busiro drew 1-1, with Eddie Bulwanyi and Shakibu Mayanja scoring for their respective sides. Kabula remain top of the group three point clear of Busujju who sit in second with 13 points, Buvuma are third with seven points while Mawokota, Ssese and Busiro tie on six points in fourth, fifth and six place respectively.

In Muganzirwaza Group, two-time winners Ssingo advanced to the quarterfinal stage with a narrow 1-0 away win over Kyaggwe. Ibrahim Ssengooba scored the only goal in the second half.

Kooki and Gomba played out a 1-1 draw, with Joseph Ondago and Alex Kiiza scoring for either side.

The Mawogola and Buwekula game was abandoned in the second half due to fan pitch invasion, with Buwekula leading at the time of suspension.

In the Bulange Group, Buluuli and Bulemeezi shared spoils in a thrilling 2-2 draw. Abdul Salam and Robert Ssewanyana scored for Buluuli, while James Tekakwo and Ronald Obed netted for Bulemeezi.

Buddu returned to winning ways with a slim 1-0 victory over Butambala, courtesy of Martin Nsubuga’s second-half goal.

Bugerere and Kyadondo drew 1-1, with Henry Wamala scoring for Bugerere and Marvin Praise Wambuga giving Kyaddondo the lead.
