The Airtel Masaza Cup returns this weekend with Matchday two, and the most successful teams in the competition’s history are seeking redemption after disappointing losses in their openers. Defending champions Bulemeezi, 2022 winners Busiro, record champions Gomba, and Buddu all failed to secure wins last weekend.

Bulemeezi, who lost 1-0 to Buluuli in Luwero, will travel to Ntenjeru Ssaza Grounds to face Bugerere in a Bulange group encounter.

Meanwhile, Buddu, who were beaten by Butambala in Kibibi, will host rivals Kyaddondo in Kitovu. Kyaddondo previously overcame Bugerere in their opener.

In the Muganzirwaza group, Gomba, who suffered a 2-0 loss to Kyaggwe, will visit Ssingo, who played out a goalless draw against Buweekula in their first game.

In Masengere, Busiro, who lost to Busujju on home soil, will travel to Buwama to face Mawokota, who held Buvuma goalless in Magyo.
