Last year’s victory belonged to Kioga, who beat Lira City in the finals, which were played at the UTC Lira playgrounds. Kioga won 3–0 on Sunday, 3rd August last year, with unstoppable determination.

However, this year, the buzz is all about Kioga’s fans as they defend the Dwong Pacu Cup (Luo Masaza Cup). With their reputation for catching the biggest fish in former finals, they instantly become a contender to watch.

As the day of the tournament approaches, villagers gather at the venues, transforming them into vibrant festivals.
