Mark Mulindwa – The Commanding Host
A graduate of Crane Media with a Diploma in Journalism, Mark cut his teeth in sports broadcasting back in 2016 as a sports analyst at KSTV, where he spent two years sharpening his eye for tactical nuance. He then moved to UGSOUND ONLINE RADIO for a year as a football commentator and sports presenter before finding his home at Ganda Media Agency in 2023.

There, he has hosted flagship programs like The Big Interview and now steers the ship of The Masaza Cup Show. For the last two seasons, Mark has also served as a live commentator at Masaza Cup matches, meaning he brings to every episode the rare ability to describe a game as it unfolds and then dissect it with surgical precision afterwards.

Jafari Gadunya – The Grassroots Storyteller
Jafari is more than a sports journalist—he is a chronicler of Uganda’s football soul. Working primarily as a sports reporter and contributor for NBS Sport, Pearl FM, and Ganda Media, he writes match reports, features, and news pieces covering Ugandan football, school sports, and regional tournaments.

But his true distinction lies in his depth of coverage: Jafari is widely known for his intimate reporting on football across native kingdoms including Buganda, Ankole, Busoga, Bugwere (Eastern), Tooro, and the Luo Cup.

Beyond the microphone, he is the founder of Musenero Charity Organizations Limited (Empowering Minds, Enriching Lives), using his journalistic work to highlight how tournaments like the Masaza Cup and the Embalangule Cup in Bunyoro region drive youth empowerment and local development.

Mugerwa Geoffrey – The Veteran Voice
Mugerwa Geoffrey is an award-winning Ugandan sports journalist, media personality, and former footballer—a combination almost impossible to find.

His football journey began on the pitch, where he played in the FUFA Zone 8 League and famously represented Busujju Ssaza in the 2005 edition of the Buganda Masaza Cup.

That player's perspective never left him. After earning a Diploma in Journalism from Buganda Royal Institute, he launched his journalism career in 2012.

Since 2013, he has covered the Buganda Masaza Cup every single season without break, becoming one of the most recognizable and trusted voices on the tournament.

His rich media journey includes stints at Mubende FM, Innerman FM, Pearl Sports TV, Tropical FM Mubende, and Salt Media. Between 2021 and 2024, he served as Media Officer for Buweekula FC, adding administrative experience to his playing and reporting credentials.

On the continental stage, Geoffrey has covered major tournaments including the concluded 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. His trophy cabinet speaks for itself: Best Masaza Cup Reporter (2019 & 2022), and Media Personality of the Year (2024) at the MTN FUFA Awards.

When Geoffrey talks about a turning point in a match, he is speaking as a player, a reporter, an award winner, and a man who has seen African football at its highest level.
